Welcome to the Cowichan Secondary School Class of 1971 Web site
This site now has the results of the 30 year reunion. A great time was had by all.
When: August 12th (Friday) and August 13th (Saturday), 2016
Where: Glenora Hall
Activities: Wine & Cheese Party (Friday) $15 per person Dinner & Dance (Saturday) $45 per person (maximum)
Your reunion team has prepared a budget and worked hard to offer people the lowest possible cost. Consequently we have set Friday evening at $15 per person and Saturday will be no more than $45 person. These costs are contingent on numbers. Reductions will be announced as numbers are reached. We would like a firm commitment from as many people as possible, as early as possible, to be able to announce reduced costs. Your spouse/partner is welcome to attend one or both evenings. No payment required yet, just your commitment to attend.
Dinner on Saturday night will be catered with Chicken Parmesan, Lasagna, potatoes, gravy, fresh veggies and 4 salads. Dessert will be provided with tea and coffee. Music for dancing will be provided by a professional DJ.
On both evenings, there will be a bar to purchase drinks. We will also provide a non-alcoholic punch. Due to government regulations, we are not allowed to host a party as BYOB.
There will be dry RV Camping available at the nearby Glenora softball fields.
The Glenora Hall has a maximum capacity of 120 people, so send us your commitment to attend, asap. Donít miss out on a fun weekend reconnecting with old friends.
Please reply and let us know if you plan to attend on one or both nights and if a guest will be joining you. (No payment is required yet.)
Your Grad Committee members are: Janice (Alcock) Gallaugher, Lyle Braithwaite, Linda (Dame) Quesnel, Barb (Evans) Nugent and Irene (Hayes) Carter.
If you are a 1971 CSSS grad and would like more information, please message Irene Carter (Hayes) or Barb Nugent (Evans)
So save the dates for August 12th & 13th, 2016 and let us know if you plan to attend!Ē
The committee wants to share that we are no longer in high school and all the high school cliques no longer exist. We are friends with history. Looking forward to connecting and enjoying time with everyone.
